Sneak Peek – The Fall Festival Season At Wachusett (Part 1)

There’s no need to don your ‘80s gear to help the locals save the mountain from corporate fat cats, but there are plenty of fun happenings this fall festival season at Wachusett!

Whether you’re in the mood for a burger and a beer, can’t get enough of crazy cool crafts, or want to strut your stuff as you race to the summit, we have you covered.

Beer Fest of Ale (September 7)

Wachusett hosts the first annual Beer Fest of Ale in early September, featuring beers from more than 40 local and international breweries. Enjoy a full day of drinks, music, great food, and entertainment like fast pitch and basketball. Make the most of early fall rumblings at the Beer Fest of Ale!

Beers and Gears Car Show (September 7)

The Beers and Gears Car Show hosted by ZC Customs brings beautiful chrome and craft beer together for an event sure to excite both engine enthusiasts and brew aficionados.

Custom cars are on site, and you can vote for your favorites. Prizes are awarded for the most unique rides and even the cleanest car.

KidsFest (September 21-22)

Summer might be over and school back in session, but KidsFest is an outdoor event for the whole family.

Entertainment includes hands-on fun like a rock wall, ladder ball, and an obstacle course, as well as main- and side-stage shows like Frisbee Dogs, The Reptile Show, and Juggles the Clown.

This is one of our most popular Fall festivals, there’s so much more happening over the two-day event, so don’t miss it!

Sea Glass Windows (September 26)

Make something beautiful with Wachusett this fall. We’ll provide a prepped window, seashells, sand, colored glass, and a few more essentials. You bring a sense of artistic adventure and anything that you think might look great in a sea glass window!

Race to the Summit (September 28-29)

Reach the summit of Wachusett Mountain by way of a half-marathon or a 5K course and ride back down on the chair lift to enjoy the view. This year’s Race to the Summit begins at 10 a.m. with same-day registration starting as early as 8 a.m.

BBQFest (September 28-29)

Start the day with a race and end the evening with some barbecue! Registration for Race to the Summit gets you in to BBQFest, and this year’s fest promises everything from a pig roast and People’s Choice Awards for best ‘cue to keg tossing and tattoo contests!
